James Raymer “Dolewite”, has been the voice for the Nashville hip-hop scene since December of 2001 and has been creating waves ever since. Raymer, a native from Atlanta Georgia (yeah!) is the nightly jockey for 101.1 The Beat. When asked about the hip-hop scene that lingers in Nashville, “There’s a lot of talent here, production wise, the homie Fate Eastwood is a Beast and has worked with plenty of nationwide artists. All Star has a large movement, as does Paper and Stix Izza. They are creating a huge buzz here and doing it by making very different music,” says Raymer “Nashville needs more support from the people who are not in the scene.”
