What is IV hydration?
IV hydration is the intravenous administration and replacement of fluids and electrolytes in our body due to dehydration. Dehydration commonly occurs due to illness, alcohol indulgence, and sports related fatigue. When dehydration occurs, our body is depleted of the nutrients needed to maintain optimal organ function. Rehydrating the body through water consumption is ideal, but time consuming and often difficult due to illness and related symptoms. IV hydration replaces fluid and electrolytes instantly through a small catheter placed in the vein. The catheter is placed by a medical professional and stays in the vein while administrating IV fluid over 30-60 min.

Studies show around 75% of Americans are dehydrated. Dehydration can occur from illness, alcohol indulgence, sports related fatigue, decreased water intake and increased soda consumption. The replacement of IV fluid takes around 30-60 minutes depending on what medications or vitamins you may need. To accommodate our patients and community, 61Five is open 7 days a week with convenient hours. We accept walk-in patients but ask that patients call ahead to guarantee treatment.
What is the cost of IV hydration therapy?
61Five has a variety of IV packages available depending on your needs. In addition to IV fluid we offer anti-nausea medication, headache medication, vitamin b12 and IV multivitamins.
